From the director of Wolf Creek comes this terrifying look at nature's perfect killing machine. When a group of tourists stumble into the remote Australian river territory of an enormous crocodile, the deadly creature traps them on a tiny mud island with the tide quickly rising and darkness descending. As the hungry predator closes in for the kill, they must fight for survival against all odds. Starring Michael Vartan (Alias) and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill), Rogue delivers brutal action and breathless suspense as it speeds towards one of the most intense final showdowns ever filmed.
In Rogue McLean steps up and takes seat as a full-fledged master of suspense. It's wonderful to see a monster movie that knows exactly what it is and exactly what it wants.
Rogue is carried by the expertly crafted curve of suspense, the small seeds planted throughout that grow into full-fledged panic and horror.
ROGUE delivers everything you could want from a high class creature feature/adventure thriller.
I liked it.
I kept waiting for a surge of intensity to occur in ROGUE, but it was nothing. The kills were good, what there were of them, and the finale was interesting- but the movie was a bore compared to what it could have been. I was expecting a break-neck paced film, but instead McLean delivered a slower paced thriller... *+/*****
Criminal that not only was it denied a proper cinematic release but has still not yet been released in the UK on DVD or available on Blu-ray in any other territory either. Beggars belief when there is so many bad releases out there. Mclean must be crushed. I believe that it will become a cult film in time.
Very enjoyable little croc flick with some good special effects.
I Enjoyed This Better Than Lake Placid And Primeval
They did want to see a croc and they got it up close and personal just to bad that the movie wasnt as thrilling as one could hope for.
Greg Mclean has done it again. Another pulse pounding wild ride that kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Rogue is definetly one of my favorite creature feature of all time.
This is one hell of a funny and brutal film! It got me tight in right from the start. The acting and effects are quite good and it has to be from that director. I loved Wolf Creek. Good job!
